Lunar New Year Spots

For a TIMES Magazine article that describes five fun facts about Lunar New Year. I went with rabbits for most of the spots as it was recently the Year of the Rabbit. From top left to right the facts are:

• The holiday generally involves travel to reunite with family

• It’s the Year of the Rabbit everywhere except Vietnam (they celebrated the Year of the Cat)

• Food plays an important role in the celebrations

• Elders customarily give money to younger people

• Japan has a different way of observing the holiday
